Thank you very much, Curelotary! ⁽⁽ ◟(灬 ˊωˋ 灬)◞ ⁾⁾
Maybe this just me or I shocked with the revealed staff for this series today. I'm surprise when Karen MIYAMA will be voice Usami Ichika in Kirakira Precure A la Mode. She have many role and appearances in many J-Drama and movies. One of them is as Meiko Otsuka (Telepaty Witch) in Live-action Yamada and 7 Witches

Funny enough, Miyama-san is also apparently skillful at making sweets herself. Check her "Skills" section on her HoriPro profile page for more of her resume.

Cure Macaroon's voice actress is Saki FUJITA...

I imagined two character about her name.

(Yuru Yuri series)...

Miku HATSUNE (voicaloid)...

And she acted the 1st generation of Cure Flora (before Haruka)... her real first name was "Chieri".

And also Coron and DonaDona in Jewelpet: Sweetspets Dance Princess. Interest, the anime movie theme is sweets and Coron is resemble Macoron too

The Ayano one made me feel like Kira Kira Precure would be interesting if it turns there is a character voiced by Otsubo Yuka who is Toshinou Kyouko, due to Ayano and Kyouko's interactions in YuruYuri. Cure Macaron is also Akagi of KanColle too.

The shrine nearest to Akihabara is Kanda Shrine.
This shrine is known as a shrine where many anime otaku visit everyday lol

↑Kanda shrine at normal day

In Shinto, many people write a wish on an ema (board). And ema is displayed in the shrine.
This year 's New Year' s season, many strange emas were also displayed to Kanda Shrine lol
It's drawned by many Otaku who wish for business prosperity (stakeholder in the subculture industry) lol

I'll show some pictures

From A few years ago, Kanda Meisami sells following Official Love Live Ema for the purpose of revitalizing tourism.
Kanda Shrine is very well-known because it's a very short walk geographical west from the center of Akihabara. No wonder why ema board with anime/manga themes are common there.
I wonder if any of you can introduce me some magical girls series? Something fun and light like Pretty Cure, Tokyo Mew Mew, etc. Puella Magi is quite dark to my taste (my POV) so... haha... Thank you if you do.

have you ever watched "Yuki Yuna is a Hero" and "Magical Girl Rising Project"?

These animes are similar to Madoka Magica (Dark Fantasy)

The worldview of "Yuki Yuna is a hero" is hopeless.
Centuries ago, the world was destroyed catastrophically by monsters created by Gods who hated mankind.
In this anime, monsters are called "vertex".
The gods against the human race thought, "They are true vertex among all creatures, human beings never be the vertex of creatures."

By Vertexes and gods, most of the earth became like the surface of the sun where human beings can not live.
Human beings were usually weapons and they could not kill them.

Besides, until a few years before the story began, human beings could only retreat them.

A few gods who were sided by humanity made defensive barrier in Shikoku Island.
These gods gathered and became the god tree (It called Shinju).
The religious group serving God Tree (shinju) is called "Taisha".

And the gods chose innocent girls as warriors, because Miko (Shinto Maiden) is chosen among innocent girls.
The gods gave battle fighters the fighting power to destroy the vertex.
But warriors lose some of their physical functions each time they exercise the strongest skill. This is a commandment in exchange for the warriors never die.
This truth was not told until the episode 10.
Taisha had kept telling lies through their smartphones.

In addition, the Taisha lied to society "The society and human race living outside the Shikoku was completely destroyed by a malignant virus".

At episode 12 and epilogue novel,
Due to the annihilation of the huge aggregate of vertex by Yuna's attack, most of the vertex died.
Shinju returned them their Physical functions.
Instead, The warriors lost their ability to exercise the strongest attack (mankai) and immortality.

But, Shinju will give all girls in around world transformation ability and fighting ability. (before 2nd season)

How about these?
Sailor Moon (5 seasons)
Lyrical Nanoha (3 seasons)
Shugo Chara (2+seasons)
Fairy Musketeers
Jewelpet (several seasons, but few have been subbed)
Sugar Sugar Rune
Petite Princess Yucie
Ojamajo Doremi (4+seasons)
Fushigiboshi No Futagohime (2 seasons, only first subbed)
Pretty Sammy (parody)
Anyamal Tantei Kiruminzoo
Black Rock Shooter (the OVA that is; the TV series is bad like PMMM)
Ultra Maniac
Powerpuff Girls Z (quite different from the American series you might know)
Cardcaptor Sakura
Princess Tutu
Houkago No Pleiades

Not really magical girl, but somewhat like it:
Symphogear (3 seasons)
Gakuen Alice
Cutie Honey
Magic Knight Rayearth
Saint Tail

Not recommended:
Saint October
Kaitou Tenshi Twin Angel (2+seasons)
Nurse Angel Ririka SOS

Madoka Magica
Yuuki Yuuna
Fate Kaleid/Liner Prisma Illya (3+seasons)
Black Rock Shooter (the TV series; the OVA is nice)
Day Break Illusion
WIXOSS (3+seasons)
Magical Girl Raising Project
Maybe try watch this (I recommended):
1. Kamichama Karin magical girl but with drama and gods x gothic theme
2. Wedding Peach
simply just like Sailor Moon and GPPC
3. Corrector Yui
magical girl who transformed in virtual world on the future similiar with Magical Girl Raising Project but with kiddy theme and minus gore
4. Lady Jewelpet
I don't think that this magical girl genre or not. But the transformation also beautifully and the drama story also great. The series turn dark in the final-arc episode (40-52)
There are no English subs for Corrector Yui beyond ep.18, are there?

Kamichama Karin wasn't very good I thought.

Can someone who has some knowledge in japanese sales explain one thing to me? According to Oricon, Yuri On Ice was sold in 35k copies of Bluray and 15k DVD's in the first week only. And it's supposedly a huge deal as there are expectations that YOI might become the best selling anime in history. I have absolutely no idea how japanese sales work so I don't really understand those numbers. What are the usual sales for popular season animes? Where besides Oricon you can check the sales? I wanted to check the sales of few series a few times already but I just can't seem to find anything besides myanimelist weekly rank.
This site is also good for checking the sales:

Good news guys! I'm OFFICIALLY heading to Tokyo in April for the Spring break! HOORAY! :D

I need to research and find some Pretty Cure and anime stuff in Tokyo first. Do any of you know what activities are there??
Try to notice the Pretty Cure Store address for Tokyo first (best underline it if you plan to go there first):

Character Street, 1 Chome-9 Marunouchi, Chiyoda, Tokyo 100-0005, Japan (it's in the JR Tokyo station)
It's interesting Toei Animation located the Pretty Cure shop at JR East Tokyo Station, not in Akihabara or the Nakano Broadway shopping complex just north JR East Nakano Station. I think Toei doesn't want to too closely associate Pretty Cure with the anime/manga otaku scene....
Given there are many other kids themed shops it shouldn't surprise me then. Plus the Aikatsu store is in that Station, too.
